Laura Heine Collage Quilting with Lori
Please join us for a super fun and relaxing Laura Heine Collage class with Lori.
Lori is a seasoned educator for these classes. You are sure to love her, the class and your project!
There will be no sewing during these 2 days, no need to lug your machine in.
You may choose any pattern you would like, she has a plethora of them to choose from. Pattern of choice is included with the class, but you must let us know your selection (if we do not have it on hand) so we can be sure to get it ordered so you will have it for class.
Please let us know your pattern choice no later than November 22.
Lori will guide you through fabric selection, cutting, placement and added touches. You may work on any of the Laura Heine patterns you choose.
Laura’s collage quilts have received world-wide attention and her collage patterns include complete instructions to create your one of a kind quilt as well as full sized silhouettes.
Additionally you will need to purchase from PNQS: pattern ease, Steam a seam 2, fabric fuse, and bring some fabric scraps from home. Additional fabrics may need to be purchased according to your particular pattern.
Class size is limited to 8 so you have plenty of room to spread out and ample time with the instructor.
$199 class fee includes instruction, one Fiberworx pattern and a low volume fat pack to get you started.
A light lunch is provided both days
Class Supplies:
- Fabrics/scraps suitable to the kind of project you want to make
- Small or medium size scissors (Karen K Buckley brand are recommended
- Small iron, wool mat or small ironing mat, rotary cutter and small ruler - we will have cutting mats in the classroom.
- All of these supplies are available for purchase in the shop with a 20% discount when you sign up for the class. Lori will have lots of other inspiration for you as well!
