Learn to Quilt with Your New Machine!
This basic quilting class INCLUDES the brand new in a box bernette 05 Academy sewing machine and your choice of precut fabrics (charm pack) from throughout the shop to make a super cute table runner or topper!
Class registration also includes a spool of thread and a light lunch. This fun one day session begins with taking your machine out of the box, learn the basics of bobbin winding, proper threading and sewing squares together with accurate quarter inch seam allowances and sewing success.
We also supply a complimentary backing, and machine quilting so you have a completed project that you only need to bind and enjoy. If you need a class on machine binding (optional) you will for sure want to sign up for that class too!
Terri is our instructor. She has years and years of sewing experience, has made a plethora of quilts as well as being a skilled garment seamstress that included custom sewing for wedding and the likes. She has been a 4-H sewing instructor for many years as well
