Come join Terri in our classroom as she takes you step by step piecing of 5 traditional blocks all set together in a beautiful 64x88 sampler quilt.
You will learn how to cut and piece:

Flying Geese
Friendship Stars
Log Cabins
You will also learn how to measure and add multiple borders and many many tips and techniques Terri has learned over the years.

Class Registration includes:
YOUR CHOICE of fabrics from the shop to match your own personal style, fabric amounts are generous to allow for a minor "oopsie" here and there. (backing and binding not included, but you will have enough left to make a scrappy binding) This amount equals to 10 yards. YOU MUST COME TO THE SHOP BEFORE THE CLASS TO SELECT YOUR FABRICS.
A comprehensive pattern workbook with a plethora of instructions, color pictures and explanations by Doug Leko.
Three class sessions
#1 Cutting and organization (no sewing machines needed for the first class)
#2 Sewing the blocks - in this session you will construct ONE of each of the 5 blocks (you will need to stitch the remaining blocks at home)
#3 putting it all together and how to measure for adding borders.
Light lunch will be provided each class.
You bring:
Sewing machine with all accessories feet, bobbins, and manual. Machines are available for rental if you reserve one ahead of time.
Straight stitch plate
Sewing supplies listed are available for purchase in the shop at a 20% discount when you sign up for class.
Rotary cutter with sharp blade (cutting mats are provided)
Neutral long staple thread in a neutral color - Aurifil is recommended
Pins
Pin cushion or container to hold pins
Scissors (fabric cutting quality)
Rotary Cutter with sharp blade

Long ruler (24")
Pen or pencil
