Long weekend and Quilt Minnesota 2022

Hello Peeps!

Tom & I are staying at home and loving it.  He is catching up on some work on the farm that has been a bit neglected this month as he, thankfully, has been super busy at the shop servicing machines.

As for me, I am working on some of the new Quilt Minnesota samples.

I was looking at the upcoming calendar I realized that I need to get going on these as Tom, Suzie, Joy, Kendra and I will be gone one week for Bernina University in Palm Springs California.  Then once we get back our entire family is headed to the cabin for vacation for a fabulous time with 10 of my favorites, kids and grand kiddos.

So it is chop, chop to get these samples made.

The new Quilt Minnesota 2022 fabrics are all about summer, well most of them, all things fishing, summer flowers, butterflies, blueberries, mushrooms in both bright and subdued colors, I have really been enjoying them.

Here is a bit of sew and tell...some completed, some cut out ready to sew and some just waiting their turn.

These are pop ups in 5 sizes, I just love them.  I have them in my office, at the cabin and at home.  These are made with a spring inside and can be all squished down for flat storage.  (but I have yet to store away any of them). We will have all the supplies for you to make your very own during the hop!

There are lots of uses for these, the smallest one can even be a can coozie if you line it with insulbright!  

Next up is a Tote Bag!

So there you have it, just one day left in this weekend. While I know I cannot get all of these projects done I am going to give it a valiant effort!

Quilt Minnesota begins the end of this month and it is going to be amazing! 17 years a Minnesota tradition.
