Whirlygig is our 18" Block!
Star quilt blocks are among the most recognizable patterns in quilting, with a
plethora of designs to choose from. The selected this modified pinwheel pattern to replicate a favorite spring and summer toy: the whirlygig. As you sew this block together, we hope it brings back fond memories of playing with whirlygigs on breezy spring days.
Our pre cut setting kit - will finish ONE block - (if you want to do a four block setting you would need to buy 4 finishing kits. One block with finishing option and 6 block setting shown below!
The single block setting option finishes at 25.5" x 25.5".
The largest six block setting is 51" x 76.5" and it would make an awesome throw quilt. If you add a small border you could also use this as a Quilt of Valor.
