Just yesterday we left our fall retreat for the 17th time. 17 years we have enjoyed the first weekend of October together as quilters and friends. We had an amazing time, it seems to get better every year. For this blog post I am going to share all of the amazing talent we had in this room full of sewing machines and happy quilters. Quilting inspiration abounds. The pictures and smiling faces need to other words...

I don't think I've ever been ready for a trip or event earlier than the night before. I have IDEAS for months, but those ideas don't come to fruition until the looming deadline of "if they don't trick or treat now, they don't trick or treat until next year" or "if you don't leave now, the airplane will leave without you" forces my hand and my sewing machine.
