Rochester Location Opening

4/12/12

12+ years later, I thought it would be fun to look back to when we opened up a location here in Rochester.  For those of you that aren't aware, we opened up in 2012 just a couple doors down in the now All Dolled Up space.  Here is the official ribbon cutting:

Here's a little behind the scenes totally OSHA approved decorating acrobatics by the brain and brawn behind the whole operation.

This is Marcia and our long time district manager, Sarah.  If you wondered how Marcia always looks so great, now you have a little tip...

A happy little mother/daughter toast to new beginnings.  We didn't know then what a ride we were about to take!

Sherri is getting a little rundown on the fabulous LauraStar ironing system.

We have always had the best staff!  This was our exceptional crew at that time.

Marcia just doing her thing.  Kaye England opened the store up and I'm thinking she's thinking, "Where is she going with this?"

The best part is getting to talk to all of you.  This conversation looks serious!

Here's another from the ribbon cutting.   Marcia here reminds me of a one year old getting their first birthday cake.  Is it just me?

The first machine to be purchased and signed by HP Ueltschi goes to Norma!

All the bright smiling faces...

Here was the original space.

Cindy had a very special birthday, so DUH - CAKE!

You guys, I remember taking this thinking, "Holy smokes...this classroom is HUGE!"

Connie was behind the scenes most of the timing keeping everything together and very against having her picture taken, but I'm sneaky.

The fabric area I believed to be ginormous!

Lynda kept us all on track, organized, and laughing lots.

Marcia and Suzie's #1 and #2 supporters, husband/dad Tom and brother/uncle Wane.

Lots and lots of machines got signed that day!

It was a full house and so much fun.

Sister/Aunt Cheryl sporting a hat she made just a cutting away.

Grandma and Wane having a little visit.

Did I mention how huge I thought the place was?

Well, we've come a long way in the past 12 years, and we owe it all to our wonderful staff and amazing customers.  You are why we're here, and we are grateful each and every day to be doing what we love and doing it together as a family.

Piece out,

Suzie
