Can you believe that it is already March? We have been off to a busy start this year at Pine
Needles! The end of January, Joy and I were off to Coeur d' Alene, Idaho to represent Pine Needles Quilt & Sew for our Bernina District Rendezvous. At this event we spent 2 full days with some fantastic Bernina educators learning and sewing with the new 790 Pro and the new L890 Quilters Edition Serger! We learned different techniques and benefits on how you can use a serger to make your quilt blocks, including flying geese! We can hardly wait to show you this beautiful new machine and all the incredible things you can do as a Quilter with a serger!
This week, Marcia, Suzie, Joy and I are off on an adventure to Clifton Forge, Virginia for a retreat with Kaye England! The last few weeks we have been busy getting our fabrics and patterns selected and pre-cut so we can sew, sew, sew! I am so excited to see each of our projects that we have selected come together.
