Did you see that Suzie and I headed out to Madeline Island last month for Quiltworx University? We loaded up the patterns, fabrics, notions, and machines and headed north for the week!
Quiltworx University was held at the Madeline Island School of Arts and Judy and Judel along with a few Certified Instructors were there to teach paper piecing and put together some beautiful Quiltworx custom quilts. There were students there from all over the US! Pine Needles put together a nice little offsite store right on the island! The students had so much fun putting together their custom creations on the Bernina Limited Edition Kaffe 475 machines that were also provided by Pine Needles.
Not only was Quiltworx happening on Madeline Island but we also had a full house in our classroom at Pine Needles for our Beginner Quiltworx class where I taught students how to make the Blue Moon Placemats! And we also kicked off our Carnival Flower Technique of the Month virtual class! We still have a few openings if you would like to join us!
And just in the last few days, we have been busy cutting kits from the two new mini collections from Timeless Treasures, Sage and Heather! If you are brand new to Quiltworx and would like to take a class, please watch for our next Beginner Quiltworx class coming after the first of the year!
