Dress your stitches from head to toe—literally. In this fun machine embroidery class, we’ll use OESD’s Tiny Treasures II collection (51253) of mini motifs to add personality to socks, from playful icons to tiny accents that make every step more stylish.
You’ll learn how to use the BERNINA Sock Hoop inserts to tame stretchy knit socks, including how to mark placement, stabilize properly, and hoop without twisting or distorting the fabric. Some socks will be provided, and a sock hoop will be available for anyone who doesn’t own the accessory yet, but you’re encouraged to bring your own favorites—because once you master sock embroidery, even your laundry will have a little more soul.
Supply list is below and a 20% is available for any necessary supplies after you have registered for class.
No prior embroidery experience required, though basic knowledge of machine operation is helpful. Don't forget to bring your enthusiasm!
You will need to bring:
BERNINA Embroidery machine and module, loaded with a straight stitch plate. Machine should be oiled before coming to class.
