Warning...this is graphic...view discretion is advised! OK, not really, but I have been hitting it hard in my sewing room these last few weeks, so it's definitely not in tip-top shape, but it is REAL. I am fully aware my pics aren't Better Homes and Garden's-worthy, but here's a sneak peek into my favorite room in the house.
Thanks to my very good friend and co-worker, Joy, I can Netflix and chill in style! She gifted me this huge TV, which is rarely off when I am sewing...unless I am listening to an audio book.
I love my Accuquilt Go! Cutter and workstation!
Of course, who could EVEN BREATHE without a Laurastar ironing system?
Now, now, I'm NOT opening every drawer, but these 2 are ok, I suppose.
Not a bad view. The cow pasture is on the other side of the house, but once in a while, I do get some entertainment out this window.
You just never know what these two will bring me next! :)
Happy Sewing and Happy Holidays everyone!

WOW! Great space! Thanks for sharing. I love seeing real people’s sewing rooms! Mine never looks that neat on a good day! Love the Accuquilt work station! I assume someone built that platform you have at the end where the die comes out of your Go Big so it doesn’t drop down and you don’t have to catch it as it comes through. Brilliant idea!!! Love the big TV! What a nice friend!

Love your room with so many sewers dream items! Love your pressing station, I need my cord up too. Were on farm too and I have window and walk out door, fresh farm air and pasture too. My sewing room is 14 × 20, never big enough! Thanks for sharing. Merry Christmas.

It is about 12×14 – it is a repurposed living room – when we adde a big family room on the other side of our house this room became my sewing room.

Penny – I work on many projects, but usually I try to finish the one that I started before moving to the next, but sometimes the shop has “deadlines” that change the plan several times over. Happy Holidays!

Thanks for the pictures and keeping it real! Nice to see different set ups and see what people really use. Do you work on one project at a time or have several going?

Wow what a great work space! How big is your room? Grew up in the country and I miss all the open space🥰

Hi Susie,
I envy you as our house is only 22×27 on the long side and our front room is only 11×12, so I do envy you big time. I would sew more IF I had this room also. But, it is what it is so enjoy it while you can. Hope you have a great Xmas and Happy NY.
We are lucky to have my husband here at all. He had diarrhea that turned out to be EColi. He refused to see a Dr. and took Imodium instead. He did die, here at St. Olaf and was brought back after hours of working on him, the 4th of November and spent 13 in ICU, home for 10 days and back in to St. Marys for another 12 days. He almost died again twice more. 6 lung blood clots, bleeding ulcer, heart attack, 2 cups of fluid off one side of his lungs. We were told he had TOTAL organ failure and few his age (80 yrs.two weeks ago) make it and we are not out of the woods yet, we are told. He is down to 109 # and is on oxygen 24-7 with 13 pills a day to sustain him and weekly blood checks. I take his vitals several times a day here at home also. NOT been fun and not much time for sewing.
So, enjoy life now as it will go down hill as you age.
