Cozy up to some seriously cute stitching in this two‑day machine embroidery and bag-making class with Tim & Leslie. On Day 1, you’ll stitch your own Animal in Sweater design from Anita Goodesign—choosing an artful cow, bear, or squirrel—while learning how hidden appliqué is used to add dimension and color without obvious fabric edges.
On Day 2, you’ll transform your stitched animal into an over‑the‑shoulder bag, covering how to plan the bag layout, and sew it into a wearable project that shows off your new favorite critter. By the end, you’ll have a cozy companion on your shoulder and a better understanding of how detailed embroidery can become functional, everyday art.
Includes a bag kit with pre quilted fabric/lining, specialty designer zipper and matching handle strapping along with expert training from both Leslie and Tim on bag construction after you are finished with the embroidery design!
Supply list is below and a 20% is available for any necessary supplies after you have registered for class.
No prior embroidery experience required, though basic knowledge of machine operation is helpful. Don't forget to bring your enthusiasm!
