One Quilt Block & A Bit of Color Theory Wed., October 9th 10a-3:30p

Have you ever wanted to try a more complicated quilt block but are not sure if you want to make lots of them?

Would you like some guidance before you attempt one?

This is the class for you!

Join Sue and do some shopping as she explains how to identify the lights, mediums, and darks to create a dynamic block as you select your fabrics.

Sue will guide you through cutting and the process of constructing just ONE block. When finished, you will have a fantastic decorator pillow.

The first block we are going to make is Odd Fellows Chain (essentially a star within a star - see picture).

This FULL DAY class is appropriate for confident beginners and intermediates.

Bring your machine or use one of ours (call ahead to reserve), your own rotary cutter with a sharp blade, and general sewing supplies.

Our Class Fee includes 4 different cuts of your choice of fabrics from throughout the shop, a spool of Aurifil thread, fabric for pillow back, and a pillow form.
